Dear Readers, This week we carry some reviews of the new and premiering plays that were staged at the recently concluded NCPA-AGP Centrestage festival. The reviews are of Delna Mody's ALL THAT I EVER WANTED, Vikram Kapadia's BOMBAY TALKIES, Hassan Abdulrazzak's BAGHDAD WEDDING, Purva Naresh and Naresh Saxena's PRETH and ofAchyut Vaze's SADU, SADUCHI BAYKO ANI URLELA JAG. Upcoming plays at the weekend include Rage's production of AR Gurney's LOVE LETTERS featuring Rajit Kapur and Shernaz Patel. New Gujarati play, PATNI NACHAVE, BHAGWAN BACHAVE opens this weekend too. The Industrial Theatre Co has produced Girish Karnad's HAYAVADANA. The production, directed by Pushan Kripalani and Arghya Lahiri opens next week. Playwright, actor, novelist and documentary filmmaker, Partap Sharma has passed away. Meher Pestonji calls a friend who was noted for his voice amongst his other creative contributions.
