Workshop details : Contact Details Please enter your email id & mobile no, we'll email you the contact details Email Id :   * Mobile No :   * Please enter the text shown in image    I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free. -Michelangelo The Creative Body with Tushar Pandey (National School of Drama; LISPA London) Dates: 19-24 August 2013 Times: 8 am - 2 pm Using various exercises and provocations, Tushar will help performers understand the culture of the body in terms of impulses and instincts, with the aim of expanding their imagination. Once they are able to identify and connect to their impulses, he will encourage the performers to be more fluid in responding to these impulses and ideas, thus allowing them to take those ideas forward. Finally, he will take the performers through different styles of theatre -- from realistic to stylistic to buffoonery -- in order to help them find and improve on their own personal expressiveness and creativity. The Creative Ensemble Kathryn Doshi (Dell'arte International School of Physical Theatre, US) Dates: 9-14 September 2013 Timings: 5 pm - 9 pm It's easy to explore an idea when it's your own. How do you work in an ensemble where many imaginative ideas are at work? How do you negotiate and overcome the differences of opinion on what works and what doesn't? Can I accept another''s idea and reject mine? Using various games and techniques, Kathryn will take participants through a step-by-step journey on how to develop a shared imagination, how to work with a multitude of ideas to form a cohesive one amongst the group, towards the ultimate goal, telling a single imaginative story as a group.
