These workshops are designed by Theatre Professionals to build upon core areas of acting: movement, voice and the development of strong performance through understanding dramatic texts. These workshops are taught by well trained, experienced actors who regularly attend our Advanced Workshops in addition to their extensive
practice in Theatre.
Taught with the same rigor, dedication and focus as our advanced skills workshops, these workshops are a must for those dedicated to understanding the craft of acting.
They demand a high level of commitment, focus and energy from the participant and we take pride in keeping focus on individual attention and development through training.
The course is open to any and all participants. Language, age, profession, no bar.
Your training will include:
A. Physical work – understanding the performer’s body, and understanding how the
body relates to the space it occupies.
B. Breathing and Voice work. Using the full potential of your voice.
C. Connecting with the actor’s inner impulse.
D. Learning to do on stage, rather than think.
E. Exploring character, and freeing the actor’s imagination.
Geetanjali Kulkarni
Geetanjali is one of the best known actresses on stage in Mumbai. She has acted in Lagnakallol, Wada Bhavani Aaicha, Sangeet Debuchya Muli, Sex Morality and Censorship, Dreams of Talim and most recently in The Company Theatre’s adaptation of Twelfth Night, Piya Behrupiya that played at the Globe Theatre in London. She has extensive experience conducted workshops for NSD extension programme. She is one of the course conveners for The Drama School, Mumbai. |
