Explore the processes that originated in this Greek form, used by physical theatre makers to build powerful moments of ensemble complicity. You will be pushed to your physical limits; both as an individual and as a member of the ensemble. You will work with ancient and contemporary choral forms, using a range of texts - in the process discovering how to create high impact performances.
Yuki Ellias is an actor, teacher, movement director and filmmaker. After two years at Lecoq, she studied theatre pedagogy at LISPA. Yuki has performed in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Italy. She has been the Movement Director of UK’s leading opera company, Opera North, on their 2007 production of Mozart’s Magic Flute.
