A woman is a woman first, and then she is a daughter, sister, mother or wife. However, it is the biggest irony of our social system that we have forgotten this and we see our women in the roles we have cast for them. TU CHHE LAJAWAB is a story of a middle-aged woman called Kaumudi Mehta, who is trapped in such different relationships. She is the wife of Dwarkaprasad, mother to his children, Harry and Tanu, sister-in-law (Bhabhi) to her husband's brother, Prashant and to his new bride Rashmi.
Kaumudi a.k.a. Moti, was the eldest sister among seven siblings, brought up in a traditional family and expected to be generous and understanding all the time. Being the eldest child, she compromises for the sake of her younger siblings all the time and this does not change when she gets married. In her in-laws' house too, she is also expected to compromise, being the older daughter-in-law. But Kaumudi is tired playing the elder one. Will she become a complete woman? Find out in this hilarious play which underlines the hypocrisy of our social system.
